Phonics Sounds Spring Term
Date: 24th Jan 2018 @ 7:32pm
Here are the phonics sounds that we have been learning so far this term. Practise reading and writing the words both on their own and in sentences. There are also some tricky words that we have been practising to read and write- remember that these cannot be sounded out using sounding out skills and need to be learnt by sight. The children love reading and writing silly sentences with the words in, or get them to answer silly questions that they have to read with the words in (e.g. Can a queen tweet from a tree?). There are also a range of games that you can play from the phonics evening before Christmas (please come and see me if you did not attend). There is also a great website
www.phonicsplay.co.uk
which we use regularly.
Any questions please do come and see me. Many thanks. Mrs Williams
