Welcome to Acorns!

Welcome to Tattenhall Park Primary School. We are very happy to welcome you to our school community. We are very excied to get to know your children and learn lots of new things. We have met lots of new friends and are keen to get to know all of our families.

Staff

Mrs Williams teaches Mon-Thurs

Mrs Edwards will teach Fridays and Thursday afternoons until Miss Rodgers returns

Mrs Heath and Mrs Mason are our wonderful Teaching Assistants who work in class all week

Curriculum

Please find this term's Curriculum Map attached below. Our topic is 'All About Me'. We use Tapestry to capture moments in our learning. Observations will be posted on Tapestry so that you can see what we have been up to at school. 

Communication

We will use Tapestry to send out any messages specific to the class. School wide messages will be sent via email. We also have a message board by our sliding doors.   

Early Reading

We change the children's books every Monday. At the start of the year we will send home a story book for you to share with your child. As the class start to learn sounds, we will send home flash cards for them to practise at home and eventually they will have books they will read to you.  

P.E

P.E lessons will be every Thursday. Please send the children into school in their uniforms and we will change them in school. PE kits will stay in school and then we will send them home at half term or when needed. 

Tapestry Time

Please share what you have been getting up to at home. We will give the children an opportunity to talk about anything uploaded on to Tapestry from home. It is also a great way for the children to explore and celebrate the similarities and differences that we have within the classroom.
