Reception plan for school closure

Please find our school closure plan below. This is only guidance. We would encourage you to spend valable time with your child, playing and sharing in their learning whether it be from these ideas or your own which will support their learning at home.

Young children love to be outside. By just providing boxes, drapes, paintbrushes and water, a bucket of water, chalks, paper… you will be amazed at how creative your child can be and what learning opportunities will take place. If you play alongside your child and support their learning by talking and asking questions, this will help to extend their learning.

Enjoy this precious time together. We look forward to hearing what you and your child/ren all get up to! Please feel free to email us if you require further information  ( ) We would also like you to celebrate what you have been doing with your children by uploading your photos to the Tapestry website.

There is a wide range of websites and apps for tablets available on Acorns class webpage.  These support all areas of our curriculum.  We have also uploaded a range of resources to support some of the tasks below.

Miss Rodgers, Mrs Ellam, Miss Beaumont and Mrs Gibson.

Please record ALL of your evidence onto Tapestry.

Every morning Miss Rodgers and Mrs Ellam will upload suggestions which you can do with your child/ren on the school website. You will need to login to the student login which is under the main photo on the homepage using the login details which we gave you week commencing 16/03/20.

Wednesday 26th March - MATHS

A HUGE thanks to Miss Beaumont and our friends at Ten Town!

We have been sent our very own personal logins to access Ten Town. Tattenhall Park Primary School has been using the brilliant Ten Town resources for many years to help our pupils to develop a real love of numbers. We will be setting our activities based around the Ten Town characters and activities next week.

Over the next few days, you will recieve your welcome letter on school spider and your personal login details via an observation on Tapestry. You can then explore the world of Ten Town and number! The 'Ten Town Home Guidance Letter has also been added below at the bottom of this Acorns webpage.
