Our School Day

8:45 - 9:00 Morning Challenges
9:00 - 9:50 English or Maths
9:50 - 10 Daily Mile
10 - 10:30 Phonics and Spelling lessons
10:30 - 10:50 Break 
10:50- 11:45 Maths or English
12 - 1 Lunch
1 - 2 Handwriting and Topic lessons
2 - 2:15 Assembly
2:15 - 2:30 Break
2:30 - 3 Reading 
3 - 3:15 Class Novel and home time routines


Our sharing assembly is Friday 24th January at 9.10am. 


The children will change their reading books every Monday and Thursday. 

Homework is set every Friday and should be handed in the following Wednesday. 

During the year the class will be given spellings to practise each week linked to the phonics they have been taught.

PE lessons are on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The class will have other opportunities to get active during the week, so they need to have their PE kits in school every day. The class will take part in the Daily Mile each day also.

We welcome Miss Dougherty an Associate Teacher from Chester University. Miss Dougherty will be teaching alongside Miss Turner during the Autumn and Spring Terms.
